The complete plant was imported from Germany. It has capacity of 3,00,000 MT per annum. The mill consists of 6 continuous roughing stands followed by 8 stand Tandem finishing mills and 3 coilers. The plant consists of most modern reheating furnace of 60 T per hour capacity using producer gas produced in two stage Gassifiers installed within the premises.
